    • Hail Mary, a diner in Greenpoint with many multicultural touches, is the first restaurant from Hisham (“Ham”) and Sohla El-Waylly, a married couple with an impressive collective culinary resume. They first met in cooking school, and then she went to work at Del Posto and Atera while he went to Empellón and wd~50
    • Ham was born in Qatar to Egyptian and Bolivian parents, and Sohla was born in Los Angeles to Bengali parents. The eclectic menu at Hail Mary reflects the couple’s global approach to food
