This Neon Junkyard Is The Most Unconventional Light Show You’ll Ever See

@godsownjunkyard

It’s not every day that you stumble upon an attraction made of outrageous neon signs from sex shops and old blockbuster movies. We know, that’s a mouthful. You can find the collection of signs, plus a place to get a bite to eat, all in one place. That place is called Gods Own Junkyard.

Culture Trip reports that the junkyard, which takes up residence in unit 12 of the Ravenscourt Industrial Estate in Walthamstow, London, is like an unconventional carnival.

Owner Marcus Bracey has been in the neon sign business for years. In fact, his grandfather founded neon sign company Electro Signs in the 1950s and opened Gods Own Junkyard to showcase the most unique signs.

You can walk through the maze of signs and curated rooms, and then head over to the cafe in the middle of the experience for a bite and a drink. Gods Own Junkyard is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m, and it’s free. You can rent a sign or rent out the place for a photo shoot if your heart desires.

We can guarantee you won’t see anything else quite like this. If you’re in London and looking for something *interesting* to do, check out the junkyard. Don’t forget your camera.
