Gin-Flavored Cheese Is Here And We’re Flat-Out Confused

@jules_king

There are a good amount of bizarre cheeses out there from yak cheese to camel’s milk cheese to charcoal cheese. The newest in odd cheese combinations might have to be gin-flavored cheese. We’re confused and not sure how we feel about gin-spiked cheese.

The United Kingdom-based Cheshire Cheese Company debuted the Gin and Lemon Cheshire Cheese that has a light balance of slightly sweetened lemon pieces that harmonize with the acidity of the creamy Cheshire cheese. There’s a splash of gin added, which helps with the creamy and melt-in-your-mouth sensation. Each piece of cheese is packaged in yellow wax. The gin-spiked cheese is selling like crazy, and the company is working to make more as we speak.

Cheshire Cheese Company likes to play around with different kinds of alcohol when crafting its new cheese flavors, like its cheddar cheese with ginger and Irish whiskey or the mild cheddar made with ale and mustard. Keep ’em coming, Cheshire, we’re intrigued.
