A ‘Game Of Thrones’-Inspired Whisky Collection Is Here

“Game of Thrones” winter might not be coming until next year (we’ve been rudely forced to wait nearly two years for the upcoming season), but we’ll get by with the help of the newest Diageo whisky collection dedicated to the series and franchise. According to the company’s press release, nine special Scotches inspired by the Houses of Westeros, the Night’s Watch and those terrifying White Walkers are available nationwide for the drinking. Needless to say, we’re very into this.

Diageo has a wide range of distilleries across Scotland that each produce their own unique products, much like the vastly different Houses of Westeros. Every blend is labeled with sigils of the Houses: the Lannister blend features a golden lion while the Targaryens blend showcases a fierce three-headed dragon.

The newest whisky in the collection is the White Walker by Johnnie Walker. Diageo highly suggests serving it directly from the freezer to emphasize its bone-chillingly delicious flavors that mirror the equally-icy White Walkers. You can buy it online for a cool $54.99.

The best part about the collection? There’s a blend for everyone, even though Diageo sticks to single-malt scotch whiskies. While the Tully blend has notes of warm orange and clove, honey and fresh fig flavors in the Stark blend mirror the family’s ability to survive in the coldest of winters. (Big whiskey drinker? You can read more about the eight blends here.)

Pricing doesn’t pass $70 per bottle in the collection, so you’re sure to get a quality taste without having to shell out a ridiculous amount just to try it. If it were up to us, you know we’d be trying everything — and we just might. But even one of these precious libations are good enough to tide us over until we can reunite with our beloved final GOT season.
