This Swiss Observation Platform Literally Takes You Over The Edge

If you’re intrigued by the idea, you may have enough courage to venture onto this observation platform. The First Walk, which is located in Grindelwald, Switzerland, is the most daring test of emotional strength you can survive.

Tucked away in the Swiss Alps, The First Walk offers incredible views of alpine forests and waterfalls, but getting there isn’t so easy. You have to first walk along the side of a mountain at extreme heights. Looking down, or even going in the first place, probably isn’t such a good idea if you’re afraid of being high above the ground.

Once you reach the main platform, you have the opportunity to walk out over the cliff and take in the sights. If you dare, you can enjoy the walk for 30 Swiss francs, or about $31. It’s open from May 6 to October 22 in 2017, so plan your visit during the warmer months.
