If you’re a fan of a cold one after a long ride, this 5-week cycling pub crawl tour of the best beer cities in Europe is for you.

The Pub Ride, run by TDA Global Cycling, leads travelers through 1,600-miles of lush green countrysides, with stops for Irish Guinness, Scottish whisky, British pints, the Netherland’s Heineken, German lagers and Denmark brews.

The 34-day trip starts in Dublin, before taking you through Belfast, Edinburgh, York, London, Bruges, Brussels, Amsterdam, Hamburg and Copenhagen. Bikers will be on the road for 25 days, but get 9 days to imbibe (or recover) in the iconic European cities.

It’s a downright brilliant system: Ride one day, drink the next, then burn off all the beer calories cycling to the next pub.

You don’t even have to worry about carrying your gear or packing your own food. TDA transports your luggage and provides enough grub to keep your energy up for pedaling.

TDA operates biking trips on every continent, but Antarctica, running tours in more than 60 countries. It has manageable jaunts for those of us with full-time gigs and five-month adventures for ambitious long-term travelers.

The entire Pub Ride trek costs about $9,800, although you could opt for only doing half for closer to $5,000. It’s a hefty price tag, but you’re pretty much covered for the full five weeks. The cost includes hotel rooms, all your meals and a designated bike mechanic in case you slip a gear while on the road.

The first trip for next summer sold out, so thankfully the company added a second tour. Book it fast, beer-loving cyclers!
