Sip Your Money Away On This Bougie Cocktail Topped With Edible Diamonds

Edible Diamond Cocktail London

This ridiculously fancy cocktail gives an entirely new meaning to “drinking away your money.”

The bougie creation, dubbed King George VI, is topped with edible diamonds. You’ll have to cough up $140 to get your hands on this over-the-top libation. You can find it at a WWII-themed cocktail bar located in London’s Chelsea neighborhood called The Bletchley.

The King George VI cocktail is made with Monkey 47 Gin, Lanique (rose vodka) and Chambord (a raspberry liqueur). In addition to the hard stuff, you’ll find lemon juice, bitter lemon, berries, hibiscus tea and orange peel.

The entire cocktail is chilled with dry ice and decorated with gold chocolate leaves, sprinkles and edible diamonds. All of the toppings are sprinkled over a mascarpone cheese foam.

If that’s not enough bougie for you, the King George VI cocktail is served with a “bomb” of sparkling wine that’s poured over an alcoholic jelly. This impressive concoction, which is prepared tableside, requires three days’ notice and takes more than 30 minutes to make.

If you have cash to blow and you want a cocktail experience like no other, it’s time to head to The Bletchley.
