These Rose Donuts Are Sugary Works Of Art

@tranduy2

What’s in a name? That which we call a rose… But for real. Roses are profoundly beautiful and universally loved. We’re ecstatic to have them in our presence, in any form — including donuts. These rose donuts bring a new meaning to pastry art, that’s for sure.

Doughnut Plant, a donut shop based in New York City, debuted the pretty donuts on their menu on Mother’s Day and plans to offer them indefinitely at all locations.

Insider reports that the shop is calling the yeast donuts “doughflowers,” which come in three flavors: strawberry, Italian blood orange and rose. The donuts cost $5 each. We don’t know about you, but between the elegant shape and the elevated flavors (Italian blood orange?! Hot damn), we’re sold.

Forget the flowers. We’d like a bouquet of these, please.
