Head to the Mirage the next time you’re in Vegas — and get ready to be surrounded by beauty. Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat is an animal sanctuary at the Mirage Hotel that hosts bottlenose dolphins, along with other animals. Imagine holding a warrior pose as a dolphin swims — so amazing. If you choose to participate in dolphin yoga at the Mirage, in addition to the hour-long yoga session, you’ll also be granted full access to the hotel’s spa and given a complimentary smoothie. Life Hack Of The Day: Seltzer Edition

Did you shake a can of seltzer too much? Tap the sides, not the top, to prevent any more bubble build-up before you open the can.

Health

Forget what you’ve heard — there are benefits to both hot and cold showers. No matter your personal preference, both temps offer an equal amount of health benefits that are amazing in their own ways. Hot showers are a natural decongestant, while cold showers increase mental alertness. Read through to check out an infographic so you can give your body exactly what it needs. [Swirled]

Career + Finance + Tech

Your favorite makeup is probably worth a lot less than you’re actually paying for it. The price is often marked up over 75 percent — and it’s not the only thing you’re paying too much for. Laundry detergent, produce, wine and more are insanely overpriced, so it’s important to know how you can save. [Swirled]

Food + Drink

When we think of brunch food, many of us picture avocado toast or poached eggs, but there are quite a few unusual brunch dish options that are even more popular. Head to Appalachia for Chocolate gravy and biscuits, a Dutch baby pancake in Washington or treat yo’ self to some scrapple in Pennsylvania. Craving more brunch inspo — check out the full menu. Recipe Of The Day: Baked French toast is way easier to make for a crowd — no flipping slices at the griddle— it all bakes together into a golden, sweet casserole of love. Start with a custard base of eggs, half-and-half, sugar, vanilla, orange zest and a pinch of salt, then layer cubed day-old challah bread and fresh raspberries and pour wet ingredients over top. Refrigerate for an hour to let the bread soak up the custard, then bake. Serve with warmed maple syrup and a flourish of powdered sugar. [Food Network]

A quick tip from yours truly: If you don’t have (or don’t like) challah you can substitute it with french bread or even croissants — they’re both fantastic swaps.
