Guy Fieri Plans To Open A Chicken Tender Restaurant At Disney World

Flavortown fans, hold on to your sunglasses. Guy Fieri is taking his bleached tips and his love for all things comfort food to Disney World. Fieri’s new restaurant, Chicken Guy, will open at Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida sometime this August.
Chicken Guy will serve — you guessed it — chicken. And because it’s Guy Fieri, we’re not talking about a classic plate of chicken parmesan. We’re talking about chicken tenders in a fast-casual setting. Customers can order the chicken either fried or grilled in three ways: in a sandwich, on a salad or on its own. Everything on the menu will cost $7 or less.
While the restaurant centers around chicken, the main act doesn’t involve poultry at all. Chicken Guy will offer 20 different sauce options at the counter, and there will even be a “sauce slinger” whose job is specifically to wander around the restaurant wearing a holster full of condiments. If a condiment belt doesn’t scream “Welcome to Flavortown,” we don’t know what does.
In addition to the chicken, the menu includes a sandwich called the Big Bite B.L.A.T. with smoked bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato and buttermilk ranch sauce. For dessert, Chicken Guy has triple double mint and cinnamon apple sundaes. Oh, and you’ll be greeted with fist bumps and a Guy selfie wall. That’s right — be prepared for the full Flavortown experience.
