Disney Has A Super Secret Food Challenge You Need To Try ASAP

If you’re up for a good food challenge and you’re a Disney fan, you have to head to the Magic Kingdom in Orlando for this insane secret food challenge. Make sure to bring six of your closest friends to take on this whopper of a meal, and most importantly, win that challenge.

Here’s the deal: you order the most insanely over-top-the-top nachos and have to eat them all. According to Disney Food Blog, the platter costs $90 at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe at the Magic Kingdom. Make sure to request the Nachos Rio Grande challenge — it’s not free or timed, but the perks are worth it.

The nachos, which are served on a mini covered wagon, come with a parade processional of the establishment’s servers. Oh, and when you finish them, you and your friends get a cowboy hat, sheriff badge, and a certificate of completion. Yep, it’s a party.

The nachos serve six to eight people, and you can use help to complete the challenge, so we suggest grabbing your best buds and digging in.

What’s in the nachos exactly? The Disney Food Blog reports that the platter consists of a few bags of tortilla chips piled high on an oversized skillet, layered with shredded chicken, beef and pork. Then, the mountain of food is covered in cheese, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, jalapeños, banana peppers, olives, salsa, and massive scoops of guacamole and sour cream.

The bonus of ordering the nachos is that you get to sit at a reserved table, which are hard to come by at the restaurant.

Make sure to arrive between 3 and 6 p.m. in order to complete the challenge. Get there early because it can apparently take a while to get your food if others are also doing the challenge.
