Hey Princess, You Can Sail Around The World As Part Of The Disney Cruise Staff

Calling all Moanas, Mulans and Minnies: Disney Cruise Line needs a new crop of princesses and other beloved characters.

Disney is seeking cruise staff for all the company’s ships (and its private island in the Bahamas!). In character, you’d perform on deck, host trivia nights and participate in theme nights.

Living and working on the ship, you’d sail around the world to destinations like Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, Britain, Alaska and the Caribbean.

The job description is intense. You’ll be putting in long days — think a little more Cinderella than Sleeping Beauty with this 70- to 80-hour workweek. Your duties would include:

  • Entertaining guests and ad-libbing in character (WWED: What would Elsa do?)
  • Learning and performing dance routines
  • Assisting in the “facilitation of dance parties” — yes, this is literally in the job description.

It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it. The sea is calling!

Interested? To join the crew, you have to be fluent in English, have some sort of stage experience, have a little bit of dancing talent and be eager to live on a ship for long periods of time. If you are this Tiana-like hard worker, go live your fairytale and apply.
