You Can Walk Through This ‘Wizard Of Oz’-Themed Pumpkin Village In Dallas

@thedallasarboretum

Pumpkins and squash and gourds, oh my! The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden created a pumpkin village for the fall season, themed around “The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz.”

It’s the garden’s 12th annual fall village, where children and grown-up kids alike can live out their own versions of the classic tale – pumpkin style.

You can channel your inner Dorothy.

Start at Auntie Em’s house and make your way to Emerald City.

There’s a real yellow brick road.

It winds through Munchkinland, the Enchanted Forest and to the home of the wizard.

The village contains 90,000 gourds.

The fruits will become local zoo food after the exhibit is over.

There are also more than 150,000 fall flowers in bloom.

4,500 Chrysanthemums alone.

You’ll encounter some of your favorite characters.

Hopefully no run-ins with the Wicked Witch of the West!

So grab your Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion and get on down to Dallas.
