Cotton Candy Cloud Cones Are All The Rage

Milk Train Cafe

An ice cream shop in London has invented what is guaranteed to become the food world’s next Instagram obsession: cloud cones.

The UK’s Milk Train Cafe is responsible for creating these ethereal-looking desserts, which use fluffy cotton candy to make it seem as though ornate swirls of soft-serve are resting serenely on individual clouds.

Since opening in 2016, Milk Train Cafe has had lines around the block for its dreamy designs, and owner Mike Tran told Delish that the shop typically sells 400 cloud cones every day, though this figure doubles if there are tourists around.

The ice cream, all soft-serve, includes a rotating special flavor like black sesame or strawberry. Toppings add the final, elaborate touch to each cloud with options like Oreos, chocolate straws, cookie crumbs, syrup, and panda biscuits.
