Chocolate-Flavored Whiskey Is Perfect For A Sweet Night Cap
Whiskey lovers with a weakness for all things chocolate, here’s something you can get behind. Kings County Distillery, New York City’s oldest operating whiskey distillery and the first legal distillery since prohibition when it opened in 2010, makes chocolate whiskey. At $23 a flask, it’s the perfect combination of moonshine and ground cacao bean husks.
The chocolate-flavored whiskey has an ABV of 40 percent and it comes in a 200ml glass flask-shaped bottle. The boldness of the moonshine brings out a subtle sweetness to contrast the earthy rich bitterness of the cacao. The cacao bean husks come from another Brooklyn-based company, Mast Brothers Chocolate, which is located in a factory nearby.
This chocolate whiskey is the ideal dessert drink and it’s even better when you mix it into a cocktail.
