Planning to travel this summer? You probably already know that summer travel is likely to be more expensive than any other time of the year, but what’s the forecast for this year, specifically? Below you’ll find the cheapest summer days to travel this season, plus what days to avoid.

2017 is seeing slightly more expensive airfare prices compared to usual, according to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The TSA announced the testing of new screening procedures at major U.S. airports like Los Angeles International, which could cause a hike in fees, particularly when flying in and out of these airports. On top of that, Hopper.com predicts that the average domestic roundtrip ticket will increase by 5.8 percent, to an average of $222. Last year’s average was $210.

When To Fly

Fortune reports that Cheapair.com created a calendar of the least expensive days to fly. If possible, fly on June 1, July 26, August 31 or September 20. Tuesdays and Wednesdays were also reported to show airline prices about $20 less than average.

When Not To Fly

Cheapair.com advises against traveling on Sundays and most days in July if you’re looking for the best price.
