The Cannibal Liquor House: A Serious Cocktail Bar with Next-Level Snacks

[tw-divider]The Scoop[/tw-divider]
- In the space that previously housed Resto, owner Christian Pappanicholas opens The Cannibal Liquor House. As a cocktail-focused spinoff of The Cannibal, Liquor House’s beer-doting sister restaurant next door, the bar’s interior is decorated with reclaimed wood, bright upbeat colors, and fun artistic touches like photos of Pee Wee Herman
- This cocktail bar takes its libations very seriously, each listed under its own liquor category. Try the Harvey Wallbanger (vodka, orange marmalade, vanilla), Blueberry Fix (bourbon, cassis, sherry cherry, blackberries), or the Brandy Alexander (Morgenstern’s vanilla ice cream, brandy, cardamaro, Oreos)
- The chefs of The Cannibal Beer & Butcher, Francis Derby and Danny Hobby, play on classic American bar food with inspired snacks like Cacio Pepe chips (based off of a creamy Roman pasta dish with pepper and Parmigiano-Reggiano), Rueben spring rolls, and Yorkshire Pudding with braised veal cheek and pickled mushroom
