You Can Get Paid To Explore Luxury Cancún Resorts (Yes, Seriously)

It’s the ultimate dream: a “CEO” title for lounging on the beach. And it’s real, friends. It’s real.

We’ll explain. Cancun.com is hiring a CEO to spend six months exploring luxury Mexican resorts. Now, in this case, CEO means “Cancún Experience Officer” so it’s not exactly executive level, but you’ll have no living expenses, earn a salary and spend your days in the tropics, sharing your experiences on social media and in blog posts.

No previous experience is required; Cancun.com is opening applications to literally anyone. All you have to do is submit a video explaining “what makes [you] Cancun.com’s ideal CEO?”

Your video should be one minute long and submitted by December 17. But if you send in your entry earlier, you’ll have more time to get all your family and friends to vote for you. The most popular 100 entries will move onto the second round of video entries.

You’ll know by January 4 whether you made the top 50 – at which time you’ll be given a new task so the company can further narrow down the field. The top five contenders will be flown to Cancún in late January – so you can cash in some travel perks even if you don’t snag the gig.

The lucky traveler who receives the “CEO” job will be paid $10,000 a month (and the company will pay for any activity you might write about or document on social media). Sounds like an absolute dream from our chilly seats on this late fall day. Better make like Elle Woods and create the best video application of your life.
