Located in Durban, a coastal city in South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province, the rope swing has maintained the Guinness World Record as the tallest swing in the world since 2011. If that isn’t a clear indication of just how insane the ride is, let us further explain.

While the experience only lasts 30 seconds, it’s probably unlike anything you’ve done before. You’re dropped into a 196-foot free fall at a max speed of 74 miles an hour. That’s faster than a car cruising on the highway.
