The 2018 Mercer Quality of Life Index evaluated 450 cities around the world based on politics, economics, culture, health, education, transportation, housing, food and climate. In the top 20 cities with the best quality of life, you’ll find European cities, Canadian cities, Australian cities and New Zealand cities, but not one American city.
