Here’s Some Potato Latke Inspiration Just In Time For Hanukkah

Whether you’re Jewish or not, chances are you’ve come across a potato pancake or two in your day. Nothing screams the holidays and family quite like the smell of frying potatoes and onions on the stove.

The process of making potato pancakes or latkes is half of the fun. Once you grate the potatoes and onions, you mix in a little egg, salt, black pepper and flour, and drop mounds of the potato mixture into hot oil to fry. Serve them with sour cream, yogurt, apple sauce or any kind of dipping sauce you want. Any vegetable you can grate, you can turn into a latke. Here’s some inspiration just in time for Hanukkah.
