4 Festive Cocktails That Will Spice Up Your Holiday Party
It’s officially holiday party time! And you know you want to be the friend with the most hoppin’ bar cart in town. So whip up one (or several) of these slightly fancy but perfectly festive cocktails when it’s your turn to host, and your crew will be begging you for refills in no time.
1. DeLeĆ³n Tequilaās “Garden of Deleon”
Ingredients
- 1.5 ounces of DeLeon AƱejo tequila
- 0.5 ounces of Ancho Reyes Verde
- 1 ounceĀ of limeĀ juice
- .5 ounces of agaveĀ nectar
- 10 cilantro leaves
Preparation
Add all of the ingredients to a shaker filled with ice. Shake it well and strain it into a rocks glass filled with ice and garnish with cilantro and an optional salt rim. Top with sparkling wine, and get sipping.
2. The Great Southern
Ingredients
- 45ml of Bulleit bourbon
- 15ml of Joseph Cartron Peche Liqueur
- 15ml of raspberry syrup
- 20ml of lemon juice
- 20ml of egg whites
Preparation
Combine all of the ingredients and shake without ice to emulsify the egg whites. Shake again with ice and strain it over ice into a short rocks glass. Garnish the cocktail with an Angostura strip and dehydrated lemon, and serve.
3. DeLeĆ³n Tequilaās “AƱejo & Apple”
Ingredients
- 1.5 ounces of DeLeon AƱejo tequila
- 4Ā ounces of Martinelli sparklingĀ apple juice
- 2 dashes of Angostura bitters (optional)
Preparation
Add all of the ingredients to a highball glass filled with ice and garnish with a lemon wedge and a few apple slices.
4. The Rosarita
Ingredients
- 45ml of Espolon Blanco tequila
- 5ml of liqueur de Violette
- 30ml of lime juice
- 30ml of rose syrup
- 3 roseĀ petals
Preparation
Shake all of the ingredients with ice. Pour it into a highball glass, top it with crushed ice, and then garnish the cocktail with a rolled rose petal and 10 milliliters ofĀ Violette liqueur.
