We’d be lying if we said we don’t love the idea of luxe camping. Skip the dirt, embrace the open sky and get comfy under a duvet! If you’re with us, you have to check out these five glamping locations around the world. They take the experience to a whole new level.

1. Treehotel — Edeforsvägen, Sweden

It’s exactly what you’d expect: you can stay in one of Treehotel’s creative rooms (you have a lot of choices, including a “bird’s nest” and a camouflaged cube) overlooking the Swedish forest. The rooms are environmentally-friendly and offer views that very few lodgings can. If you visit between September and March, you may also get a front-row seat to the Northern Lights. You’ll feel totally immersed in the woods without having to fully experience the woods. Rooms start at $615 a night.

2. Pampered Wilderness — Millersylvania State Park, Washington, U.S.

If this setup isn’t exactly what you think glamping is, we’re not sure what to say. Pampered Wilderness offers a number of luxe-themed rooms like Shabby Chic and Rustic Retreat. The accommodations come with a memory form king-sized mattress, fireplace, vanity, table with place settings, microwave oven, mini fridge and more. Bathrooms aren’t included, but honestly, we think you can handle it. Rooms start at $145 a night.

3. Sal Salis — Exmouth, Australia

Sal Salis offers the best of an Australian beach town without making you rough it in the least. Close to Australia’s Cape Range National Park, you’ll be situated near hiking trails and the crystal-clear water. There are a variety of tent packages you can choose from that include en-suite bathrooms, chef-prepared meals and an open bar, national park entrance fees and guided tours. Tents start at $750 a night.
