Ben & Jerry’s Cereal Ice Cream Flavors Are The Ultimate ‘Splashback’

Ben and Jerry’s is out with a cereal-ously delicious new line of new flavors.

Inspired by cereal, Fruit Loot (cereal milk cream with crisp fruity cereal swirl), Frozen Flakes (cereal milk ice cream with a crisp cereal swirl) and Cocoa Loco (chocolate cereal milk ice cream with a crisp chocolate cereal swirl) will be available at Scoop Shops on March 7, which just so happens to be National Cereal Day.

So what’s the inspiration for the new flavors?

Eric Fredette, Ben & Jerry’s Flavor Guru, said, “So why combine ice cream and cereal? Because the sweet milk at the bottom of a cereal bowl is arguably the best part.” He added, “We wanted to take our flavor concepts and make people feel like a kid again, which is how we landed with our Cereal Splashback flavors. There’s a flavor for every fan that will help bring them back to the prize-at-the-bottom-of-the-box days, watching Saturday morning cartoons in pajamas.”

Ben & Jerry’s is always coming out with new delicious products. Earlier this year, the ice cream company came out with “pints by the slice” — individually wrapped, hand-held slices in four classic flavors you adore. And for vegans who want to experience the magic of Ben & Jerry’s, the ice cream empire recently released a line of vegan flavors.
