Ever wanted to be wandering free, part of Ariel’s world? No need to pretend anymore — you can live out your Little Mermaid dreams at AquaMermaid, the first-ever mermaid school.

AquaMermaid offers swimming classes with a twist — or should we say a tail. The school employs over 40 professionally trained swim instructors, aqua fitness trainers and lifeguards, so you’re in good hands. You can sign up for a single class, reserve time for an event like a bachelorette or birthday, or train to become an expert mermaid swimmer.

So how does it work? Upon paying for the swim class, you’re given a complimentary spandex-stretch tail (or you can buy your own — apparently they’re online everywhere). You’re encouraged to bring your own goggles, towel and lock for a locker.

According to the website, the class is much more than swimming in a pool looking pretty. Since you swim like a fish by moving both legs together, you activate your core significantly to propel you forward. The class pairs the intense lower body exercise with equally intense arm movements, so you get a full body workout and a cardio session in one.
