Angry Orchard Rolls Out A Rosé Hard Cider Just In Time For Spring

Angry Orchard

What better way to welcome spring to town than with the new rosé hard cider from Angry Orchard? The blush-colored pink cider is made with a combination of hibiscus and fresh juice from rare red flesh apples that are sourced from France, along with Gala, Fuji, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious and Granny Smith apples.

The rosé cider has a floral aroma with a forward apple taste, light tannins and a bright apple finish — similar to a refreshing semi-dry wine.

Each bottle of the rosé is a bright rosy color, which comes from the red flesh apples. The medium body cider has an ABV of 5.5 percent and it comes either in a six-pack or a variety pack. The rosé cider will be available year-round, just in case you were worried it was a limited-edition bottle.

You can pair the cider with both savory and sweet dishes. Anything with fresh fruit, fruit sauce, fruity chutneys, caramelized onions or an appetizer like a prosciutto-wrapped melon would work. You could also sit back and relax with a six pack and a movie. Rosé season is upon us, people. Time to make moves.

Angry Orchard currently has five other flavors on the market, including Crisp Apple, Green Apple, Easy Apple, Pear Cider and Stone Dry.
