If You Spot This Guy At The Airport, You Could Score A First-Class Seat

Going on a trip anytime soon? We certainly hope you are, but it’s not likely that you’re flying first class, right? Now, you may have the opportunity for a prized upgrade. The founder of God Save the Points, Gilbert Ott, is offering the chance of a lifetime: if you spot him at the airport, he may give you his first- or business-class flight to your destination, assuming you’re heading to the same place.

Travel and Leisure reports that the head of the travel blog is willing to give up his seat to anyone who recognizes him in the airport between now and December 21. He wrote in a July 15, 2017 blog post that whether it’s at the gate, in the security line or at check-in, he’ll swap seats with you instantaneously if you can pick him out of the crowd.

The catch, as we mentioned, is that you have to be on the same flight as Ott. So, there’s no chance that you can swap your flight to Orlando for a first-class flight to Milan. Womp.

Either way, the deal is straight-up cool. You never know where you’ll see Ott, but it’s definitely worth asking where he’s going.
