The World’s Most Expensive Macaron Comes With A Hotel Suite
Lovers of all things sweet and lavish: the world’s most expensive macaron is right up your alley — if you’ve got the cash.
Harper’s Bazaar reports that the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort launched a partnership with Lalique, French jeweler and objet label. The result: a $9,703 crystal macaron.
So, does the $10,000 buy just the macaron? Oh no, the price tag comes with so much more.
Upon purchase, you receive a keepsake Lalique crystal box and the macarons, which are made with white tea and edible 24-karat gold flakes. The big bonus: you score a night in the resort’s brand new four-bedroom Sky Palace suite, which houses eight and comes with a personal butler and four 210 square-foot balconies. Oh, and you’ll be served high tea with luxe treats. No big deal.
So all you have to do is get $10k together and head to the St. Regis to enjoy the ultimate luxe life. Think you can do that? …Us either. But we dare to dream until the day comes.
