Chipotle Is Adding Its First Dessert Ever And It Sounds Delicious

Chipotle fans (so, basically the world), brace yourselves: a new Chipotle dessert is debuting in May. We know, this is insane.

Business Insider reported on April 25 that the burrito chain announced the sweet addition to its menu. The dessert will be tested throughout the next month. What are they cooking up? Though churros would be an easy guess, Chipotle opted for buñuelos, which are fried tortilla strips tossed in honey, cinnamon and sugar. The chain is serving them up in a bag with apple caramel dipping sauce.

Last year, Chipotle teased that it would be adding dessert to the menu, and finally, we have our answer. The chain hasn’t released locations where they’ll be testing the buñuelos, but we’re crossing our fingers for nationwide distribution.
