Get Excited For The Delicious Disney Food And Wine Festival

Last year Disney California Adventure — located in Anaheim, California — finally brought back its highly anticipated food and wine festival. At first they didn’t go all out, and instead, they tested the waters with a low-key version of the event. This year the festival is in full swing! From March 10 to April 16 you can taste all the fresh California springtime cuisine with culinary events, celebrity chefs and beverages.
There are 15 food, wine and beer booths around the park, similar to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, where you can sample appetizer-sized portions of each dish. There are culinary demonstrations, wine and beer seminars, a merch shop where you can sample and buy local California wines and upscale dining with celebrity chefs. Some of the celebrity chefs making appearances this year include Robert Irvine, Guy Fieri, Keegan Gerhard, Duff Goldman, Cat Cora and more.
You’ll have to pay for admission into the park and then additional fees for any specific events you’d like to check out. If you don’t want to break the bank, there are a bunch of culinary demos and seminars that range from $10-$20 per person, with each event lasting approximately 30-45 minutes. A “Sip and Savor” pass will get you eight “Marketplace” food tastings. Why not learn how to cook while you’re at a theme park — the culinary demonstrations are 30-minute, mini cooking lessons and each offers attendees step-by-step instructions along with recipe ideas.
Disney is already the coolest place on its own, but walking around and sampling food and drinks in between all of the attractions is an added bonus for those who are culinary-minded.
