Calamansi Coolers are made with juice from the calamnsi fruit, which is at the intersection of mandarin oranges and kumquats. On its own, the fruit is slightly sweet and a little sour. It’s a marriage of limeade with something tangy and floral.

Trader Joe’s sells four-packs of these Calamansi Coolers for $2.99 each. The ingredients are simple — water, sugar, calamansi puree and Vitamin C. The single-serve cans are perfect for picnics and convenient to toss in your bag for the beach.
