Lemon, in our opinion, is one of the most underrated flavors when it comes to dessert. So we’re thrilled that Krispy Kreme released a limited-edition lemon-glazed donut that’s available through April 29. The donut is available at the majority of locations across the United States and Canada.

The new donut is a zesty twist on the classic with a little bit of fresh lemon juice. The springtime donut creation is the winner of a contest where fans chose between lemon-glazed, maple, blueberry and caramel, among other potential flavors.

If you have a location of the iconic donut chain near you, you’ll want to try out the lemon-glazed donut while you can. The only thing that would make this winning donut even better would be some poppy seeds sprinkled on top.
