Disneyland Now Has Dole Whip Donuts And We Want In
Disneyland has been on its “A” game lately when it comes to all things edible. It has everything from Ghirardelli chocolate churros to a real-life Pizza Planet inspired by “Toy Story.” And now, you can add Dole Whip donuts to the list of all-star foods at Disneyland.
The beloved dessert is glazed with pineapple icing and piled high with fluffy marshmallow meringue. Inside of the donut, there’s a fruity filling and tiny bits of sweet pineapple.
The best part about having this sought-after Disney snack in donut form? You won’t have to worry about it melting all over you. The Dole Whip donut will be served at Disneyland’s donut cart, which is located right next to the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Disneyland’s iconic Dole Whip soft serve is a dairy-free dessert made with a pineapple-flavored dry mix (from dried pineapple juice) that’s combined with water and pumped out of a soft serve machine to create a creamy, tropical, frozen treat.
According to Disney’s Food Blog, the donut cart varieties change pretty frequently and there are only a certain amount of donuts available each day. So we guess you’ll have to cross your fingers that it’s a pineapple kind of day.
