The World’s Cheesiest Pizza Is Topped With 111 Types Of Cheese
Take everything you know about cheesy pizza and throw it out the window. Berlin-based Italian restaurant Vadoli Pizzeria has created the world’s cheesiest pizza, and it’s topped with 111 different kinds of cheese.
Designed by an American pizza chef, this insane pie has won the official crown from Guinness World Records for the “greatest variety of cheese on a pizza.”
This cheesy creation isn’t that much larger than your standard pie, weighing in at 288.6 grams. The pizza chef squeezed all 111 kinds of cheese onto the regular-sized pie by adding no more than 2.6 grams of each type of cheese.
Some of these cheeses include Emmental, Leicestershire red, Comté, Raclette de Chèvre and mozzarella. This record-breaking pie made its debut at an event organized by the German pizza delivery service Pizza.de.
With over 100 types of dairy melted together, each tiny morsel of the world’s cheesiest pizza has a completely different taste, according to Guinness World Records. This German pizzeria is pushing the boundaries of how much you can experiment with one pie.
And one thing’s for sure: Your favorite three-cheese pie has got some serious competition.
