Star Wars Ice Cream Is Here, Right In Time For The Release Of The Latest Movie
Right in time for Friday’s release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Brooklyn-based ice cream company Ample Hills Creamery teamed up with Disney and Lucasfilm to release a trio of Star Wars-themed flavors. Ample Hills is selling pints in three limited-edition flavors:
- The “First Order” is made with a salted deep dark chocolate, cocoa powder, bittersweet chocolate and a dash of espresso.
- “The Force” incorporates sweet cream, swirls of chocolate fudge and white and dark chocolate pearls.
- “The Resistance” has brown sugar and vanilla bean ice cream with a mixture of red velvet, Ooey Gooey Butter Cake, toffee pieces and mini marshmallows.
Inspired by the “heroes, villains and enduring themes” of Star Wars, each flavor comes in a pint with specially illustrated labels.
You can find the Star Wars ice cream online where it’s $30 for a three-pack. You’ll have to order all three flavors if you do it on the web, but you’ll receive a custom box complete with a punch out X-Wing fighter. If you live in the NYC area, you can scoop up these flavors at most retail locations, as well as in the freezer section of certain Whole Foods stores across the Northeast.
Join the dark chocolate side and order a pack of these frozen treats for yourself or someone in your life who you know will love you forever.
