There’s A Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Turkey And We’re Alarmed

Everyone has their own trusted Thanksgiving turkey recipe. Some people roast it, some fry it, some stick it over a beer can and some stuff it with a chicken that’s stuffed inside of a duck for a turducken. The list goes on.

Whoever gets to take care of the turkey usually gets the most props at the Thanksgiving table, so it’s a chance to be as creative as you want. Reynolds Kitchens takes turkey improv to a whole new level with a Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Turkey. You might win over some kids at Thanksgiving, but we’re not sure about the rest of your family.

It’s no surprise that the Cheetos will turn your bird Flamin’ Hot red. Delish makes the whole recipe seem relatively easy if you’re intrigued at all by the concept. You pretty much crush up some Cheetos, brush the bird with oil (or butter since you’re already making a Cheetos turkey and there’s no turning back) and then coat it with the crushed Cheetos. We’re not really sure what to think about this Cheetos-covered bird, but if you’re feeling adventurous and you’re bored of the same old turkey recipe, this could be an interesting project.
