1. Avalon Hotel – Göteborg, Sweden

Not only does a section of the pool “float freely over [the] Kungsportsplatsen” neighborhood, according to the hotel’s website. The pool is also decorated with a 24-karat gold mosaic.

2. Hotel Indigo Hong Kong Island – Hong Kong, China

The hotel boasts a “cantilevered, glass-bottomed infinity pool” with dramatic views of the Wan Chai neighborhood’s exciting nightlife and architecture.

You can swim out right over downtown Dallas’ Mainstreet in The Joule’s heated pool. The cantilevered structure gives you crazy waterborne views.
