You Can Take The Most Scenic Fall Train Ride For Just $53

@arbeauchesne

Fall is arguably the most beautiful season ever (yes, we’re making the call — can you blame us?). There’s nothing better than watching the leaves turn red, orange and yellow. The Great Dome Car train ride is the ultimate way to see the best of fall. Grab a friend and hop on board.

Delish reports that the train ride, which runs on Amtrak’s Adirondak route, offers the most scenic views of the Northeastern part of the country during the season. The route, which runs once a day, starts at New York City’s Penn Station. You have to transfer in Albany to continue the trip, which ends in Montreal, Canada. You can expect gorgeous views of mountains and valleys.

What’s great about the Great Dome Car is that it’s completely window-lined on both sides. You’re not gonna miss a single moment of the trip, and the windows offer great Instagram potential.

Start at Penn Station or just jump on the line at Albany. The first leg of the trip from NYC costs as low as $34, and the trek from Albany to Montreal costs as low as $53. Seating on the Great Dome Car is first-come-first-serve, so be sure to get to the station early.

If you’re obsessed with fall foliage and want to make the most of the picture-perfect mountainside, grab a ticket and jump on the Great Dome Car. We’re buying ours ASAP.
