This 8-Pound Burger Is A Real Showstopper

If you want a burger that can feed you and all of your friends at the same time, you’ll want to check out the OMG Burger. At The Catch, located in Anaheim, California, there’s one menu item that takes some seriously brave souls to tackle.

The OMG Burger, which goes for $49.95, is topped with 16 slices of aged cheddar cheese and it’s nestled between two 14-inch buns. Between the meat, toppings, cheese, buns and surrounding moat of fries, this monster burger weighs a whopping eight pounds.

You can add additional toppings like double meat, jalapeños, bacon, avocado and chili. Jabbed right into the center of the OMG Burger is a steak knife so customers can cut it up themselves, just like a pie. As if your arteries aren’t already freaking out, pierced through the top of the eight-pound burger is a slider with grilled onions and a giant pickle.

If you consider yourself to have a hearty appetite and you want to dip your feet into the world of competitive eating, try devouring the entire burger by yourself and you could win a $500 prize.  There’s only one person who’s completed the challenge thus far, so you could get your name up on the wall if you’re up to it.
