Yoga can be immensely beneficial in helping us unwind at the end of a long day as well as de-stressing at the end of an even longer week. But, we should also be looking at yoga as an integral part of your self-care ritual. It’s one of the most natural and soothing ways to achieve balance. Whenever you need a little personal check-in and some self-love try the stimulating Hero Pose or Savasana, where you lie down and can truly focus on who you are on the inside. Read through for more power poses. [Swirled]

Life Hack Of The Day: Organizing 101 Edition

If you have a bunch of cords lying in a box somewhere check this out. Wrap each cord into a bundle and put it into an empty toilet paper roll (or an empty paper towel roll cut in half). Write the cable type on the outside of the roll and you’ll be clutter-free in no time.

Health

There are three body types: Endomorph, ectomorph and mesomorph. Once you’ve identified which body type you have, you can lean into the dietary choices that work with your body rather than against it. While most people aren’t 100 percent one of the three dominant body types, tap through to read our chart and guide yourself to the proper mealtime balance your body intuitively craves. [Swirled]

Career + Finance + Tech

Having two accounts at separate banks prevents you from easily spending the money you’re trying to save. Consider an online savings account at a bank that doesn’t have a brick-and-mortar store. You can still set up automatic payments from one to the other to stay on track with your goals. [Swirled]

Recipe of the Day: If you’re craving an ooey-gooey, chocolatey treat that’s somewhere between a brownie and cookie, we’ve got just the treat for you. The best part is that it only has three ingredients — how easy is that?! Combine one to one and one-half cups of Nutiva Organic Dark Hazelnut Spread with 2 large eggs and one-half to one cup of Bob’s Red Mill Whole Wheat Flour. (Pro Tip: If you’re livin’ the gluten-free life, make an even swap for Bob’s Red Mill Baking Flour Mix 1 To 1.) Mix and combine the ingredients until the dough is formed. Place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake at 350 for nine to 10 minutes or until the cookies are set. Let rest for five minutes, then transfer to a wire baking rack to continue cooling. Optional, but definitely recommended: Sprinkle Evolution Himalayan Pink Sea Salt before baking for the ultimate sweet-salty treat. Feeling adventurous? Add a pinch of cinnamon and chili powder for an extra kick of flavor.

A tip from yours truly: Tuck a few cookies into a Blue Avocado Bags reusable Snack bag for an on-the-go treat. The bags are washable, reusable and PVC, lead, & BPA free.
