Stay Warm With Taco & Tequila Tuesdays at El Toro Blanco
On Tuesday, December 13, El Toro Blanco in the West Village launches a much-needed Taco and Tequila Tuesdays series.
Each week, chef Josh Capon (Bowery Meat Company) will pair El Toro’s delicious tacos with a new brand of tequila, starting with Herradura Ultra Anejo on the 13th.
Guests can try the featured tequila in a tasting flight, in a specialty cocktail, or on the rocks, along with their choice of tacos, like Capon’s poached lobster taco with corn, avocado, and chimichurri; the al pastor taco with pasilla negro, roasted pineapple, onion, avocado, and queso cotija; or the gulf shrimp taco with roasted tomato, avocado, and aioli.
Each week from 5-9pm, Taco and Tequila Tuesday will host a guest speaker from the featured tequila company. So far, the lineup is as follows:
