Marcus Samuelsson’s Holiday Cookbook Tasting Menu at Red Rooster Harlem
In honor of his newest cookbook, The Red Rooster Cookbook: The Story of Food and Hustle in Harlem, Marcus Samuelsson has introduced a limited-run holiday cookbook tasting menu at Red Rooster that features festive recipes from the chef for $55.
Drawing from his Ethiopian roots, his Swedish upbringing, and the culinary influences of his adoptive Harlem, the menu is available throughout the month of December.
Dishes from the Red Rooster holiday cookbook tasting menu include Luica Bread; Pickled Beets with Spiced Pecans, Cress, and Cumin Sour Cream; Helga’s Meatballs with Braised Cabbage, Mashed Potatoes, and Lingonberries; Shoebox Ham with Jansson’s Temptation and Spicy Mustard.
