Get Ready For Eataly Flatiron’s Pizza Tantrum
In a bid to steal some of the shine back from its younger sibling in the Financial District, Eataly is throwing a month-long “pizza tantrum” at its Flatiron flagship.
From August 8 to September 11, chefs at Eataly Flatiron will be serving pizza across every menu in every ground-floor restaurant.
On the menu:
- Pizza fritta (tomatoes, stracciatella, and basil on fried dough) from Le Verdue
- Pizza alle vongole (Long Island little neck clams, oregano, red onion, and white wine on Ligurian focaccia with housemade mozzarella) from Il Pesce
- Calzoncini (Fried wild hive rye “dumplings” with kale, spinach, fontina, and Parmigiano Reggiano and wrapped with Prosciutto di Parma) from La Piazza
- Calzoncini Napoletani (fried calzone with salami, prosciutto, mozzarella, ricotta and Parmigiano Reggiano) from Manzo
- All the pizza, and $22 all-you-can-eat rounds of Giro pizza for the table every Monday until September 5) from La Pizza & La Pasta
