Wassail Celebrates Everything Cider At Dinner Series

Each month at Wassail, the Lower East Side restaurant that celebrates everything cider, grab a spot at the Cidermaker Dinner Series, where you’ll enjoy a multi-course meal paired with ciders from regional American cideries.

On Wednesday, August 3, Wassail will host Eric Shatt and Deva Maas, the husband and wife team behind Redbyrd Orchard Cider in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. Dinner will take place between 6:30-10:30pm.

Redbyrd specializes in growing heirloom, wild seedling, and European cider apples across two organic orchards, and like wine, the resulting ciders are sorted by terroir and vintage. Eric was formerly the head winemaker of Ventosa Winery in the Finger Lakes, while Deva’s family ran one of the earliest wineries in the region.

Tickets are $55 a person, not including tax and gratuity.
