Brooklyn Pop-Up Dinner: Malaysian Feast

Join chef Auria Abraham of Auria’s Malaysian Kitchen for a special pop-up Malaysian feast at culinary incubator space Brooklyn FoodWorks this Friday, December 2.

From 7:30 to 9:30pm, chef Auria will serve the vibrant flavors of Southeast Asia with a menu that includes:

Sweet and Spicy Ikan Bilis: tiny fried fish with shallots and peanuts

Po Piah: Malaysian rolls stuffed with jicama cooked in a homemade shrimp broth, flavored with hoisin and hot sauce and garnished with crunchy shallots.

Laksa: Noodles topped with chicken curry, mussels, fishcakes, flowering chives, boiled eggs, and bathed in a mild coconut curry broth. Gluten-free noodle option available.

Dessert: Coconut sticky rice, Pandan Kaya, and black sesame seeds.

Beer will be provided, though you’re also welcome to BYOB. Tickets are $60.
