Embrace Craft Beer Appreciation 101 At The Cannibal
On Saturdays at 3pm, The Cannibal in NoMad hosts the kind of weekend classes you won’t have to force yourself out of bed for: a craft beer appreciation course.
“Gentle enough for the total beer newbie, but potent enough for a level seven beer nerd,” Craft Beer Appreciation 101 at The Cannibal (held in the cozy garden out back) will teach you how to shop for better beer, figure out what beer characteristics you actually enjoy, and pair beer with food in a way that enhances both.
You’ll taste plenty of beer styles and enjoy snacks the whole time including cheese and charcuterie (this is a restaurant that describes itself as toeing the line between meat-centric and meat-crazy, after all). No prior knowledge of beer is necessary, though you must be willing and (legally) able to drink.
