During Restaurant Week (July 25 – August 19), you can visit some of the best, most coveted, and priciest restaurants in New York City for just $29 at lunch and $42 during dinner.
This year, nearly 400 restaurants across the five boroughs are participating, which means you can get a three-course, prix-fixe meal (appetizer, entree, and dessert) at places like Morimoto, Red Rooster, and Perry Street for about the same price as a single entree at each of these restaurants.
Get the most from your money with this list of the best Restaurant Week deals in New York. Unless otherwise noted, Restaurant Week excludes Saturdays.
ABC Kitchen (Flatiron)
At ABC Kitchen, Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s modern American restaurant in Flatiron, the Restaurant Week menu features the grilled portabello sandwich, Skuna Bay salmon, or ricotta and farm egg raviolo, plus a light starter and chocolate cake or roasted peaches with pistachio ice cream for dessert. Local wines are available during Restaurant Week for $19, and a local beer flight for $15.
ABC Cocina (Flatiron)
Restaurant Week lunch at the Latin-leaning ABC Cocina includes dishes like crispy chicken salad, chimichurri grilled shrimp salad, the crispy chicken sandwich, or spring vegetables, plus a starter and dessert. Available weekdays only.
Zenkichi (Williamsburg)
Start with the maguro capacchio or Zenkichi salad, and then select an entree: organic vegetable tempura, saikyo miso cod, or jidori chicken mizore-zoe (grilled chilled topped with daikon radish, scallion, and ginger). For dessert, enjoy the frozen black sesame mousse and the walnut chocolate pudding. Dinner only, Monday-Friday.
Virginia’s (Alphabet City)
Virginia’s dinner-only Restaurant Week menu includes roast chicken with summer squash, Atlantic pollock, and falafel with sheep’s milk feta. Choose from ricotta toast, barbecue shrimp, or a little gem salad to start, and a fruit crisp with ice cream or s’mores for dessert. Available every day.
Taboon (Hell’s Kitchen/ Midtown West)
At this “Middleterranean” (Middle Eastern and Mediterranean), pick a meze, main (branzino, chicken mousseline with foie gras, grilled tuna, or vegan hummus bowl), and dessert. Dinner only, $42.
Sessanta (SoHo)
For lunch or dinner at Sessanta — located inside the SIXTY SoHo hotel — select a first (tomato salad, grilled octopus, or chilled sweet corn soup), a main (orecchiette, grilled branzino, or ribeye meatballs), and dessert (tiramisu or chocolate budino).
Root & Bone (Alphabet City/ East Village)
At this Southern-inspired restaurant from two Top Chef alums, enjoy brunch/lunch ($28) or supper ($42) that includes chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, or braised short rib meatloaf. Sides of mac and cheese and watermelon are available for the table. Dinner comes with a complimentary mini bottle of rosé or watermelon lemonade.
Red Rooster (Harlem)
For lunch Monday-Friday at Red Rooster, there are two Restaurant Week options up for grabs: Helga’s meatballs with braised green cabbage and buttermilk mashed potatoes, or hearth-roasted salmon with roasted mushrooms and charred onion. For your appetizer, enjoy Red Rooster’s gazpacho verde or Cyed’s summer noodles with soy-ginger chili. Dessert is an order of mocha donuts with cinnamon sugar and whipped cream.
Perry St (West Village)
Choose between two options for appetizers, entrees, and desserts: peach salad or salmon sashimi, roasted hake or pan-seared pork loin, and molten chocolate cake or lemon verbena custard. Available for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday, and dinner on Sunday.
Noreetuh (East Village)
At Noreetuh, your entree options are the buckwheat noodles, chow noodles with morel mushrooms, mentaiko spaghetti with smoked butterfish, mochi-crusted bass, teriyaki chicken, Black Angus steak, or Elysian Fields Farm’s lamb. Morimoto NY (Meatpacking)
At Morimoto, each set comes with miso soup, a salad of mixed greens, and cucumber pickles. Select from the sushi combo, sashimi, braised black cod, angry chicken, hamachi poke, Morimoto dry-aged burger, or the veggie bop (vegetables served on rice, with an egg, and cooked at your table in a hot stone bowl). Miss Lily’s (SoHo)
At Miss Lily’s SoHo, the special Restaurant Week menu includes Miss Lily’s world famous jerk chicken, Hellshire fry fish, tofu tempura (vegan) or, for $8 extra, the hot pepper steak or grilled lobster. The dinner-only menu comes with an appetizer and dessert of either sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream, or banana pudding. Dinner only, Monday-Friday only.
At Miss Lily’s 7A, try the jerk chicken, fry fish, oxtail stew, or jerk pork banh mi for lunch, and the same menu as above for dinner.
Lupa (Greenwich Village)
Lupa, a Roman trattoria from Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich, is serving three different entrees: goat cheese agnolotti, pan-seared Arctic char, or pork belly alla piastra. Start a mixed salad, raw and braised fennel salad, or black bass crudo as an appetizer, and finish the night with the Lupa tartufo, cantaloupe granita, or ricotta with honey for dessert. Lure Fishbar (SoHo)
At Lure Fishbar, get the nori-crusted tuna, miso glazed salmon, herb-roasted chicken, or the sushi combo. For lunch, you can also get the grilled mahi tacos for an extra $8, and at dinner, the lobster fra diavolo for an extra $10. For dessert: chocolate mousse, orange semolina cake, ice cream, or sorbet. Lafayette (NoHo)

Khe-Yo (TriBeCa)
At Khe-Yo, the Laotian restaurant from Marc Forgione and Soulayphet Schwader, the Restaurant Week menu features chicken thighs braised with Thai basil and chili, chili caramel salmon, and the lemongrass and black pepper pork chops for lunch, plus a small plate and dessert. Ando (Midtown East)
At David Chang’s Ando, get a different prix-fixe lunch every week during Restaurant Week for $13 instead of the standard $29.
Il Mulino Prime (SoHo)
Il Mulino Prime’s Restaurant Week specials: spaghettini with tomato and burrata, New York Strip, wild salmon with white wine, and chicken parmigiana. For dinner, choose any of these entrees or swordfish, cavatelli with broccoli rabe, or grilled hanger steak. Lunch and dinner Sunday-Friday, and brunch on Sunday.
Il Mulino New York – Downtown (Greenwich Village)
For lunch at the Il Mulino flagship in Greenwich Village, select a primi (Caprese salad, eggplant rollatine, Caesar salad, or calamari salad), secondi (grilled salmon, penne arrabbiata, chicken milanese, porcini ravioli (+$5), or filet fiorentina (+$10), and dolci (flourless chocolate cake or poached pear). Il Mulino New York – Uptown (Upper East Side)
At Uptown, you have the option of the veal parmesan, sea bass, or risotto with asparagus for lunch during Restaurant Week, Sunday-Friday.
Trattoria Il Mulino (Gramercy/Flatiron)
For lunch, Trattoria Il Mulino is serving pizza margherita, chicken in crosta, grilled sea bass, grilled salmon, and wild mushroom risotto. Lobster pappardelle and charbroiled lamb chops are available for an extra $5. For dinner, choose the chicken parm, margherita or funghi pizza, or grilled salmon. Hearth’s special Restaurant Week dinner features skate wing milanese, beef and ricotta meatballs, or fulilli alla norma, plus salad, soup, or pork sausage as an appetizer, and olive oil cake, homemade cookies, or Cremont cheese for dessert. Dinner only, Sunday-Friday
Danji (Midtown West/ Hell’s Kitchen)
Hooni Kim’s Korean tapas restaurant, Danji, is serving a three-course lunch (entrees: bibimbap with soup and kimchi, chul-sot bibimbap, sashimi salad bibimbap, or bibim guksoo (spicy cold buckwheat noodles), and a four-course dinner (entrees: braised pork belly, soy-poached black cod, grilled BBQ short ribs, or kimchi bacon fried rice. Chef Hooni Kim’s second restaurant, Hanjan, is also offering a three-course lunch (entrees: sashimi salad, seafood ramen, bibimbap, and short rib or spicy pork “ssam-bap” and a four-course dinner (entrees: grilled half mackerel, thick noodles in a spicy seafood broth, garlic fried chicken, or BBQ wagyu short ribs with ssam set (Korean rice wraps).
