Dine And Dash For A Good Cause At The 2016 NYC Pizza Run
Channel the endurance of your hard-won college-era beer miles for a good cause during the NYC Pizza Run on Saturday, September 17.
Complete the carbo-loading competition by running two miles, during which time you’ll have to eat a slice of pizza per each checkpoint throughout the course. The race will take place at 11am in Tompkins Square Park in the East Village. The full run consists of four laps around the park, with “pizza stations” after laps 1, 2, and 3.
The first person to complete the race will be crowned the official NYC Pizza Run Champion. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
Entry into the race is $50 per person, which includes an official race bib, an NYC Pizza Run t-shirt, three slices of pizza to be consumed during the race, a tote bag, plus a free drink at the afterparty at Double Wide Bar & Southern Kitchen on East 12th Street.
