Covington Estates, a custom home builder, commissioned us to design this home in Oakville. The team at Covington were inspired by @davidsmalldesigns, but had their own interpretation of “natural modern”. They wanted to create a warm, inviting modern oasis on an exclusive, near half acre lot in Southeast Oakville. Stone, stucco and cedar were strategically combined to create texture and dimension on the façade. The colour palette and materials work together to create a serene, spa­like modern appeal; hence the name ‘The Modern Oasis’.
