You can earn cash back on almost all of your purchases just by using an app. Ibotta’s free to download, and you can use it almost anywhere, including online. Plus, there’s no coupon-cutting or mail-in rebates to worry about.

The Deets: On the app, you can save any and all offers for items you plan to buy before you go shopping. Offers include money back on items like makeup, milk, eggs, bread, toilet paper, beer, boots, shampoo and more. Afterward, upload a picture of your receipt into the app. Ibotta will scan it for all of the items you saved earlier, calculating the total amount you earned in cash back. If you don’t want to scan a picture of your receipt, you can link a store loyalty card to your Ibotta account instead.

The Bottom Line: Once your balance hits $20, you can cash out via Venmo or PayPal and enjoy. Now that’s what we call savvy shopping. [Swirled]

Crossing your legs from time to time is harmless, but if you have blood pressure issues, refrain from doing so when you can. [Swirled]
